BiC Classic Fine biro, black and red. Every Day in May 2011: draw some scissors.
I opted for the drama of some old fold-up scissors from Hong Kong. The areas of rust might have looked good in coloured pencil, but tomorrow I get to draw a natural, biological object, affording some relief from the relentless handmade metallic and plastic objects. It’s been an extremely long time since I drew in biro and I suspect it’s more important what you omit rather than what you include with this particular medium! I assume subtlety comes with practice.
