Drawing Class. Session 1. Homework, Day 1.

October 21, 2011

A4. Graphite pencil. Another chair. An exercise in proportion, measurement and sighting holding up the pencil against the subject. Including some background provides the object with some small amount of context. From Bert Dodson’s perspective (“Keys to Drawing”), it’s all about large shapes, small shapes and trapped shapes/enrichment shapes.
